How Sudoku.so uses cookies and browser storage for accounts and analytics.

Sudoku.so uses cookies for account features and loads analytics tools to understand how the game is used. This page describes the current website. See our privacy policy for information about personal data.

What cookies are used for

Cookies are small values stored by your browser and sent with requests. Account cookies keep you signed in or secure a sign-in or password-reset flow.

Analytics storage names and lifetimes can change with provider settings. Your browser’s site-data tools show the cookies and local storage actually present on your device.

Analytics and other storage

The current website initializes PostHog when a page loads. It does not currently provide a cookie-consent settings panel or wait for a cookie choice before loading this tool. Sudoku.so is free of advertising.

PostHog can use cookies and browser storage. Browser storage remains on your device until it expires or is cleared, depending on the storage mechanism and provider settings. Signed-in game progress is saved to your account on the server; clearing browser storage does not delete that account data.

Embedded content

Some learning articles contain YouTube videos. Loading embedded content can connect your browser to the provider and allow that provider to use its own cookies or storage. The provider’s own policy applies to its processing.

Manage cookies and storage

You can inspect, block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking account cookies can prevent sign-in and password resets from working. Deleting analytics cookies alone does not stop analytics scripts from loading on later visits; browser privacy controls or content blockers can restrict those requests.
